The R9 280X Toxic costs as much as the GTX 770 where I live, that's why I want that card. I was thinking about getting the ASRock Z87 pro4 or the Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3. Which one of these 2 would be better? Or are there any better motherboards in this price range? Thanks in advance!

i'd get the ASRock Z87 pro4, cheaper than the gigabyte and very feature rich. a nod to gigabyte ga-z87-hd3 is that in my opinion it has the better bios with more profile options for customer settings for overclocking if that is your fancy

overall i'd still go with the asrock, that gigabyte board is a close second.

By the way, what's the difference between the Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3 the Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H? Is there a big difference between the performance because the DS3H is 30 euros cheaper where I live.

Do you think the Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H will be good enough?

that is based on your views . . i recommend what i used and heard about from users . . . this one is also a good one but if you can save some bucks so go for it . . otherwise i still recommend hd3
most important this board have crossfire/sli support which ds3h haven't
