Occaisionally while playing games (like bf4) my ram usage will get really high 80%-90%. the gme will get laggy. I will closed all running processes and the ram will stay at 80%. BTW I have 8gb of ram.

''RAM usage really high when nothing is running''

there is always somethings running if the memory is almost 90% used...

should have a software running at the back ... see task manager in windows

I've looked at task manager, there is nothing that adds up to the 80% ram usage.

You need to hit Control+Alt+Delete and Start Task Manager - then go to Processes and click on the top of the column titled Memory which will sort it - this will show you what is open and enable you to see what is consuming your memory. You can also click on the tab called Performance and then click on the "Resource Monitor" button at the bottom. On the window that pops up click on the memory tab - this will give you a graphical representation of everything that is loaded into the memory and how much of the RAM it is using. If anything is unusually high it may have issues - I've seen Windows Media Player do some weird things which ended up consuming all of the available system memory . . . . you can report back on anything odd

ok download ccleaner here...
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/73780...

and after is installed ....do a cleanup and registry cleanup
after that go in tools features and go to start program and check what is enable at the start of windows...
if you see a software you do not know and enable just change to disable at start
