Will a PCIE-x16 3.0 GPU work in a PCIE-x16 2.0 slot?

Yes PCI-e 3.0 is backward compatible with PCI-e 2.0. It just means that the card will work at PCI-e 2.0 speeds, which isn't a big deal since no single card is able to saturate PCI-e 2.0.

Ok, Thanks! From what I have read the performance decrease of 2.0 will only be 1% at most.
