Booting up automatically takes me to the desktop after a few seconds.

When I turn on my second computer it loads to the start screen (which I want it to do) but then automatically switches to desktop.

It is not set to boot to desktop.

This is very annoying as it pulls me out of whatever app I first open. Is this a bug? Please help.

After experimenting a bit, I have tried disabling AMD Raptr from starting with Windows. The issue went away but I will wait a while before declaring Raptr the cause.

The behavior of switching to desktop only after a few seconds suggested that it was related to some startup program.
