i already have a gpu.

the hd 7850

i have an HP computer and i want to utilize my new GPU,the HDD and ram that came with the HP.

so i can use with these new upgrades. I want to be able to game with high framerates as i am stuck with an a10-5700 which is basically an athlon 740 with and iGPU

In that case the intel would be my choice

It is but you gotta keep in mind that 8-core cpu's are the future, the first game that started taking advantage
was battlefield 4 so even for gaming i'd pick the amd rig because sure it may be ~10 fps less but you can
do much more stuff all at once with it. Plus when people start optimizing multiplayer games to 8 core
then 4 cores will just be holding you back, and 8 core amd's will have a bigger advantage over i5's.

Just going to point this out but it is 8 very weak cores running at about 1.6Ghz(give or take) even if they start getting optimized for eight cores current desktop CPU's are much faster and stronger than the console cores. Not to mention that the scaling that would have to take place for most games to reach 8 cores it will be a while.
