This is an unusual problem! My graphics card Asus GTX 550Ti.

One week ago, I bought widescreen monitor (AOC I2369V) and since that time have same problem. I am actually using native resolution (1920x1080) and everything looks vertically stretched, to solve this problem I've tried all resolutions. All the resolutions have the same problem, everything looks like stretched, circle looks like an ellipse on the all resolutions. I am using last version of drivers, I've reinstalled windows 7, I've changed/reset of all nVidia Control Panel and monitor OSD settings, but my problem unresolved.

As a result of my experiment, two things temporarily solved my problem;

1. If the aspect ratio set 16:9 with 1024x768 resolution, then everything looks correctly. (I've changed aspect ratio with monitor OSD settings.)

2. If the create 1920x1440 resolution as custom resolution, then everything looks correctly. (By the way 1920x1440 is a 4:3 format resolution it's actually same thing first method)

But, this two solutions gave me really bad display quality. I need to solve for native resolution.

I've used my monitor with my friend's computer, everything looks correctly. I think the problem is related to the graphics card. Please help me...

SUMMARY

My widescreen monitor only looks correct with 16:9 aspect ratio and 4:3 resolution. With 16:9 aspect ratio and 16:9 resolution everything looks stretched. Or 4:3 aspect ratio and 4:3 resolution everything looks stretched.

Yes, i know the importance of native resolution, because of this problem i've tried every resolution to test. By the way, i am actually using AOC, Philips my old monitor. Available on same problem at Philips monitor.

* I am using DVI input with AOC I2369V

* An example, i've choosing 1024x768 resolution and everything vertically stretched. Then i've been going to "Monitor OSD" and I've changing format from 4:3 to 16:9 then everything looks correct. But this just a simple test, i need to be solve this problem at 1920x1080.

* No, I don't stretch any image.

* I bought AOC one weeks ago and i am searching for solution since that time.

I am actually using native resolution. But at the native resolution everything looks stretched.

An example with 1920x1080
