I would like to know if it is worth it to buy a aftermarket cooler to use on my pentium g3220, which obviously not overclockable. The current idle temperatur fall within 37 - 39 celcius and gaming fall within 41 - 43 celsius.

Solution
For a Pentium an aftermarket cooler really isn't worth it, they simply don't generate that much heat. The only reason to get an aftermarket cooler is if your stock cooler is broken and needs to be replaced, or you want to get a CPU cooler with a quieter fan.
There is no reason to sue anything but the stock cooler on any Intel CPU ..... especially one that has a TDP of 54 wattts.... I shud note that it's not hard to hit thermal limits on the big haswells (i.e. 4770k) while running stress tests (i.e. OCCT's 85C default test shutdown)
