Transfering OEM win8 to Mac ?

Hi , I will be getting a macbook and I heard that you can install windows on the mac , So I was wondering that , Is it possible for you to transfer the windows 8 oem from my current desktop , to the macbook which I will get later ?

Right. Then you can't use that same license on another PC. And a VM or dual boot on a Mac counts as 'another PC'.

Was this preinstalled? If so, no. It is licensed for that original hardware.

If not preinstalled...as in you bought it and you installed it, you can probably install that on a different device. In this case a VM within the Mac system.
But that invalidates the install on your original desktop. Rendering it useless until you install another OS.

To your basic question...either way, no, not really.

One license, one PC.

Its not preinstalled I brought it and installed it in my pc

That completely depends on how you obtained it.
If you bought it, and you installed it, yes. Transfer it to whatever.
If preinstalled, no.

Has to be a full system build version. Otherwise, when in the new computer it will be seen as an unauthorized copy.

What I meant by that is you can't use it at the same time. You can use that license on a different PC (or VM or dual boot), but only if you don't also use on the original PC.

It is transferable, but only one PC at a time.
