Brand New Built PC Shutting off while Gaming

I have just built a brand new PC, this is the first PC I have ever put together. Recently, as I have been playing more and more games that are newer and newer, I have had a strange experience. Repeatedly, while in a game, my computer will completely shut down; all my LEDs (those on fans and those that are indicators for power) switch off as well as my Blue Yeti microphone, which typically stays on unless I completely shut down the system for the night.

However, today the shutdowns have begun to be exacerbated. The PSU completely turns off and I have to switch it to 0 before I switch it to 1 and turn the system back on. I would say this has happened 10 times in the last week, which was when I assembled it. And I would like some help figuring out what to do about it.

I think I need to replace my PSU and/or upgrade to a 64-bit version of Windows. Below are my specs. Thank you for your time.

Case: Rosewill Blackhawk case with 120 mm (x5) case fans
OS: Windows 7 Home 32-bit (had originally purchased it for a laptop and decided to use it for now. I'm aware I'm not able to use all of my RAM currently thanks to this.)
Motherboard: Biostar TA970 (BIOS is current)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600 600W
Processor: AMD FX6350 6-core 3.9GHz 14 MB Cache
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 650 2GB GDDR5 (Drivers updated)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB DDR3-1600 (x2) (Connected in the Dual Channel primary slots on mobo)

Any advice you can give here about if my PSU is insufficient, or if I should take temps while gaming would be appreciated. I would do temps at this moment, but it doesn't seem to be overheating anything, as it doesn't take but a handful of minutes in a game (10-15) for the system to shut down.
