I'm buying a new custom build gaming computer, just looking for opinions and advice on what I'm planning on getting and if I should change or upgrade anything.

Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming - SLI and crossfire

CPU: Intel core i7 4770k quad core with hyper threading 8mb cache OC to 4.4GHz

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100 hydro cooler with dual SP210L fans

RAM/Memory: 8gb (2 x 4gb) 2133MHz is it worth getting 16gb or just overkill?

Graphics Card: 4gb Saphire R9 290 (no x) Tri X OC

PSU: 750w Corsair, RM, Modular, Silent, 80plusGold any dual graphics cards

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb

Hard Drive: Seagate 2TB

Sound card: Creative Labs SB X-Fi gaming sound card

Operating System: windows 7 or 8 ?

Case: Corsair Carbide 300r with side window (big enough case? Enough space and airflow?)

Also let me know if you think anything is unnecessary or I'm missing something important.

If you don't plan on doing any video rendering or professional work with your system, you could save some money by going with an i5 4670k instead of the 4770k. In gaming the 4770k doesn't do any better than the 4670k.
