ok so I have an asrock z87 pro4 I have the pc up and running good but I'm getting errors from the intel Rapid Storage manager I have a SSD and a RAID 1.
Win 8.1 Clean install on the SSD, there is an install of 7 on the raid but its for an old pc and has never been used.

Problem is, the RSM only shows my ODD and my SSD ... not my RAID1, not the volume, not either drive, nothing but the ssd and ODD. And no SMART software can see either drive either.

But it keeps popping up errors "Your system is reporting one or more events and data my be at risk."

It does sound like one of the hdd's is acting funky (sounds like it reinitializes during normal usage about once a week)

I went into the UEFI and changed the SATA setting to RAID and when windows starts I get a BSOD and halt. The only way around it is to change the setting back.

I have a replacement hdd in hand... but I'm fearful about tinkering with something that already isn't recognized correctly, and I don't know if it will rebuild properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
