Need help removing windows

I recently factory restored my HDD and I want to put it into my new pc with a msi h87 g43 mobo and an Intel i3 4130 CPU but I need to remove windows otherwise if I don't that's piracy, if I remove windows how can I reinstall it in the first place or how can I legally put my HDD in my new pc and then get a new activation key for windows.

If it's an OEM Windows your are SOL. That's why I dont buy OEM anymore. Nothing you can do except get a new copy. Well, Windows 8.1 is going to be free of sorts too so. That is another thing to consider.

Nope, OEM copies are for one computer and cannot be moved.

Not sure to what degree you're allowed to do a Grandfather's Axe job, though.

Thing is though say I do buy a new thing of windows, how do I uninstall my current version and then install my new version or windows 7 or 8?

in windows Setup there is an option to format the drive, but dont forget to backup any files or data you want

Ok but what i mean is that if i remove windows completely. it's gone. the windows 7 i have is OEM so its' gone and i can't get a new one. There are free trials of windows how do i go on my comp without windows but still download the free trial for windows?
