Hello, ive been looking at motherboards lately and that some say they are have 2 pcie 16 but then say x8. Are they truly pcie 16, or the same speed?

It means if you are running 2 cards in sli or crossfire both cards will run @8x. If you are having only one card it will run @16x.. Also i think Ahmadjon means

PCI-E 2.0 X16 = PCI-E 3.0 X8
