Theoretical case here

Theoretical PSU Fails, takes whole system with it. Would the manufacturer of said PSU have to replace the system if PSU is under warranty FROM said manufacturer? If not, which ones DO actually replace the system?

They will not replace your system for you.
Either talk to the manufacturer of the individual parts and hope that they will let you RMA, or get warranty for a pre-built system, or buy components with a whole warranty wrap around your build, I know that Microcenter does it.
