Hi i need help and advice, I want to Overclock my Pc i7 3770k. Herewith is my Rig:

PC Specs:

Asus GTX660 Ti 2GB
P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard
Thermalright true spirit 140mm Air cooler.
2x8 GB 1600Mhz Vengeance DDR RAM
760Watt Sesonic PLATINUM 80 Plus PSU
2TB Seagate HDD (7.2k rpm)

I have added an extra 120MM FRACTAL DESIGN case fans on the front of my case, making a total of 2 intake and 1 exhaust at the rear.I have an extra 120mm fan on standby not installed yet.

From reviews and tests I've seen the Thermalright True Spirit 140mm Air cooler performs within about 3c of a Corsair H80i water cooler, so you'll be just fine POSSIBLY? to 4.5ghz, but that depends on the luck of the draw as far as the quality of your particular 3770K.

It's nice to see that you chose 1600mhz memory so you won't be overclocking your CPU memory controller and adding extra heat to the CPU from overclocking it.

_Vass suggestion of the overclock guide from overclock.net may possibly help you?

You'd probably be best starting out there, and learning your basics, and post back here, what you don't understand, or what doesn't work for you?

I will also say that guide is not foolproof as it didn't do squat for me!

I overclocked my own 3770K to 5ghz and went back to that guide, (like reading the instructions after you've assembled something to see if you forgot something!), and some of the suggestions in the guide would not work for me, so I'm just saying, you have to start somewhere.
