i have bought a d-link dsl2750u router which is an adsl router with flipkart.com on cash on delivery basis and received the product but realized later that the isp provider who can support me
with the adsl (with modem ,phone connection ) type of connection has stopped providing internet
services in my area..... now i'm stuck with the product ....
there are other isp providers who provide internet but don't support adsl connection.
... so i requested for a return of product within an hour of receiving it
after realizing but those guys say that if the product has no defect
they can't exchange it........... now i'm stuck with the product which can't be used
in any way and also have to buy a new router (WITHOUT MODEM,WITHOUT PHONE CONNECTION )which would work for me...
with extra cost....please help me out..... how can i use a d-link dsl2750u router which is an adsl router to connect to the internet without a modem?
{ i have been using a netgear n300 JWNR2000 router before that used to work for me until it stopped working suddenly one day... then i had to put the order for this product with which i'm stuck... (just to give you the idea ... what type of router works with my isp providers in my location)}

That model is only good for a DSL connection, the WAN port is a phone cable for DSL use. If you did not open it, you should be able to return it with no issues, although that really depends on where you got it. Most vendors will take back an unopened product.

A router will not work without a modem unless it's a gateway router device with a modem built-in.
