Will a virus designed for Windows affect Mac OS?

Hi

I don't own any Mac but I love to have information regarding computers.
Any virus/Trojan/malware etc that affect windows could also affect Mac OS?

Depends. Malware designed specifically for Windows won't, but malware targeted for stuff like Java, Chrome, or other cross-platform software will.

The best antivirus exists between your ears. Don't download from, or visit, dodgy sites, and you'll have far less chance of an infection.
