Hi I'm hoping you can help me please.

I'm after a good but reasonably priced wireless mouse.

My PC and monitor is in one room, but I also have a HDMI lead running from it to my TV in another room. (I don't have a smart TV) I then use this set up to watch Films & TV from my hard drive via VLC player and watch amazon prime streamed films. When doing this I need my keyboard and mouse in the living room so I need a wireless option to use in both rooms. (Its about 5 - 8 meters distance max)

I'm a rare casual gamer. But I do game on occasion so I would prefer something that's responsive with minimal lag decent button options etc. But price is a big constraint at the moment so if that's off budget so be it for now.

I tried the microsoft wireless 3000 desktop - the mouse was so inaccurate it took ages to get it too point to files you wanted to open, it just jumped all over the place, and the keyboard often would not register key strokes arrrgghh!

I'm looking at buying the logitech K360 wireless keyboard as it has decent reviews on amazon UK, but I'm struggling for a decent wireless mouse. I was thinking about either of these two which seem to have good reviews. I don't really want to go above UK £60 as my gaming is rare. (though trying the elder scrolls beta this weekend)

Logitech G602 wireless gaming mouse £57.97 at amazon UK

Logitech G700s wireless gaming mouse £63.34 at mazon UK

Any opinions and advice would be helpful and appreciated

None of the wireless devices I know of can be used well at that distance, especially not line of sight. The main issue with the MS keyboard/mouse you had was because of the distance.

What you may want to try is get a USB extension cable to bring the receiver a bit closer to the keyboard/mouse. I'd stick with about a 2-3 meter cable at most.
