Wireless Drivers for Acer Not Working

I purchased an Acer Aspire 4743Z with Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). Yesterday, I installed Ultimate on it, and was able to install my Atheros ethernet/LAN driver. When I tried to install the Broadcom wireless driver, I rebooted the computer, but when I logged in, I got no connections (and yes, the button for wifi is on). No matter how many times I repeat this process of installing and rebooting, nothing happens.

For some reason, the drivers from Acer's drivers didn't work but I finished Windows Updates and installed DriverMax, the only driver scanner that doesn't have malware or a subscription. I installed the wireless driver and it worked like a charm. I'll give you the best answer anyways since you were the only one that replied...
