The problem is when I open the game in full screen it shows message on hdtv saying "no signal". I know this has something to do with the resolution. I have open the configuration file to change this. It does change the resolution but I can only make it open in windows mode. I need to run it in full screen. Any thoughts?

I dont play this game and this is copied from somewhere. Hope it helps.

1. Make sure the game is installed, closed and has been run at least once.
2. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
3. Type %localappdata% and press Enter.
4. Open the "4A Games" folder.
5. Open the "Metro LL" folder.
6. There should be one folder in this folder. Open it.
7. Open the "user.cfg" file with Notepad or another text editor.

=>Disable Windowed Mode
Find the line r_fullscreen off and change it to r_fullscreen on.

As I said at the begining of the thread. I have worked with the config file. It's exactly at that location and did that already. Although I set it to window mode instead of full screen because by default it's full screen. And yes, I hve chanaged the resolution to match my native hd tv as well.

So even at native resolution, when you put "on" on the config file, you get no signal? Well that's strange..

Yes, this had happened to me before with medieval II: total war. I found a way to fix it accidentaly yesterday but I cant make it work again. I plugged in an old monitor along with my hdtv (without using the monitor, not even the power of the monitor was connected) and windows detects it. Then I chose the duplicate on both screen option that windows 7 gives you and then on my hdtv the screen became a little smaller. The resolution had changed too (didnt match the monitor resolution though but it was close) and then I open the game and voilla! it worked! Then I just wanted to have the tv and it didnt. I changed the hdtv resolution to native again having my monitor still connected to 1280x720 and then the game didnt work again. Problem was I couldnt get this again.
