Hello everyone.

I'm new here.

I've been "gaming" on my laptop for some time, but now I'm looking for a more stable computer, or to be more precise, I'm looking for a desktop.

I've been roaming through through the internet, and I've concluded that building my own PC is what the majority recommends. (Mainly read reviews from this site) This is also the reason why I'm asking this community.

But I really have no idea where to start or what to look for. I been looking through some pre-built computers, but when I read the reviews everybody says that it's trash.

So I wonder what I could build for a budget on 650-750 euros? (900-1.050 dollars)

I'll be playing games like BF4, Skyrim, GTA V (When it's out) and maybe some Crysis 3.
Everything on a decent quality would be nice.

NB: I'm not a native speaker, so sorry for any mistakes.

Well, pre-built PC's actually do have some worth, but usually it's either low priced computers where they are very close to the cost of DIY and the included OS and some accessories can actually make it more economical to get those, or the "boutique" pre-built PCs from high end retailers such as Origin PC. Those are generally more expensive than a DIY PC buy a significant amount, but generally offer some things such as really cool cases or superb cable management that cold only be done with many hours of effort by you if you aren't a pro at it. Generally though, on your budget, it is best to build your own.

I would maybe get a GTX 760 or 670, an i7-3770K (or 4770K if it isn't much more expensive and still in budget), 8GB of RAM, either a 600W 80+ Bronze power supply if you only want a single GPU at a time, or a 750-800W unit if you plan to get another GTX 670/760 to SLI later (which I would recommend, it is why I gave you a crazy good CPU), a good Z77/Z87 motherboard that supports at least 2-Way SLI, and that should be pretty good.

Here a good build from Deutschland:

I am sorry the top build comes with windows 8.1
You would be hard pressed to get a better system for 750 euro even if you build it yourself.
Problem is you need to make sure if you purchase one from Germany dont forget to tell them you want it with the Danish version of windows

The pre built I listed is much better don't you think?

Usually I would disagree at that price point, but that's actually a pretty good pre-built. I would agree that it is better, which is interesting.

They are both very good pre-builds. My build includes a good monitor though.

Thanks for all the quick answers! - I'm impressed!

But one of these pre-builds would be enough for a casual gamer like me? (Graphic and all that is good?)

I must admit, I heard some "scary" things about building your own PC, so maybe I should go with buying someone elses work.

The top is better but like the others said it has no monitor
I tried to put one together for the same price and I could not do it cheaper that is why I recommend those.
And yes they are both very good computers top being better in my opinion
