Can my PC run games well?

I am going to buy a new gaming PC and was wondering if the one I am thinking of getting can run pretty much all current games (and future games, without many upgrades) at a decent frame rate on medium-high settings.
Specs:
Case: Zalman Z11 Plus
Motherboard: Gigbyte 78LMT-USB3 Rev 5.0
CPU: AMD FX 8320
RAM: 8GB, Crucial Ballistix DDR3
Hard Drive: 1TB, Seagate Barracuda
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3
Power supply: Corsair CX600
Operating system: Windows 8.1 64bit

If someone could also point out any improvements I might need to make that would be most appreciated. (It's a custom built PC from FreshTech Solutions)

Totally agree, an R9 270 or GTX 760 will be a much better purchase. If you're on a tighter budget, consider a used HD 7950 or GTX 660Ti.

Besides that, it looks good to me. You may want to consider an SSD, even just a small one for Windows and your programs. The cheapest SSDs outperform the best HDDs in terms of read/write speed.
Your biggest issue is going to be that graphics card. An AMD R7 250 will struggle running most newer games at a moderate to high setting. Since you have a 600W Corsair PSU you could easily upgrade to something more substantial. The rest of your system should perform quite well.

'Yeah, okay, I did wonder about that actually, thanks very much.
Also would a Neptune case still be okay, just wondering as it would be £20 or so cheaper than the Zalman
