gtx 880m vs 780m sli

Ive been trying to find some specs on the difference between the 780s in sli and the new 880 and i havent had much luck. i was wondering if anyone had any info im trying to decide on a new laptop and its either going to be a msi or alienware. they are about the same price same processor memory etc the only difference is the alienware has 780s in sli and the msi has a single 880.

Tho frankly, I'd skip the store bought pre-configured models and have ya laptop built to order by a custom Clevo Distributor.

I find it useful to deal with the same person from pre-sales thru sales then tech support / warranty issues if they occur.... don't get that from the big behemoths like Dell (owns Alienware).

I have bought over a dozen to date and not one user has been disappointed. I buy mine at http://www.lpc-digital.com/

I was looking at upgraded systems both had the 4900 processor 32 gb of ram and hd dispays. personally im a little more inclined towards alienware i just like the durability. i actually dropped mine on the concrete and all it did was dent the corner most laptops would be pieces. how is the quality of the sager laptops? i had a ibuypower and the hinge snapped off after 2 years from just opening and closing it bent the metal inside till it snapped. i was very disappointed by the quality of that laptop the materials were a joke.

My laptops are used out in the field .... construction job sites..... we don't leave them on car hoods or drop them routinely but traveling back and forth every day is more than most are exposed to. Of course support is only as good as the individual reseller. The original Alienware you may be interested in knowing, before Dell bought them, was a Clevo distributor.
