GPU: GTX 750
MOBO: ASROCK 990FX Extreme 3
RAM: 8GB (2x4) DDR3 1866
PSU: Rosewill Stallion series RD600 (600 watts)
5 Total Fans

I am experiencing fps hitching in Elder Scrolls Online, even though I feel like I should be able to run this game on Ultra/High with out this problem. A friend told me it might be due to my PSU not being strong enough? Or did I not get enough in specs overall to play on higher graphic settings in recent games?

Well the first thing is that the Elder Scrolls online is a beta, not a game, it is bound to have many bugs, glitches, and performance issues. You really need to test it on a solid release title, not on a Beta game.

Your power supply is more than enough for your PC, it is most likely a game issue not a hardware issue. Test it on another final release game.

Okay tested on FarCry 3 with everything on Ultra, etc... ran at 40-45 in most of it. Elder Scrolls Onlineonly has 2 weeks left until release I think that it is pretty much what we are going to get for the most part. Any Idea why it is dropping to like 3-4 fps From an average of 30-40 plus when I am in towns/crowds in Elder Scrolls Online?

That's actually great performance for your components, it's an issue with the game if anything. Also, MMO's generally run better on Intel CPU's especially if you haven't overclocked your processor.

Well My roommates system is running a lot better than mine, he has a

CPU: Intel i3 2100
GPU: Evga Gt 550 Ti
MOBO: ASROCK (don't know doesn't matter)
RAM: 6GB (2x4) DDR3 1666
PSU: RaidMax (510 watts)
3 Total Fans

Now, I think my system specs are better than his. As I have checked benchmarks for my CPU and GPU are rated higher. Am I mistaken? And he is running ESO at a higher frame rate than me, with out hitching in towns/crowds on the same in game settings/res. When you say it is a game problem, do you mean like driver compatibility?

Also, your GPU is fairly new as well on a new architecture. There is a high change that this wouldn't cause any issues, but it's just something to think about.

Also, believe it or not, the 2100 has a tiny bit better single core performance than the 8350, so if he has it overclocked a lot and you haven't yours, he could run a bit smoother in some areas.

Bottom line: Don't worry about it, it will get patched or fixed eventually.
