Im planning to buy a new motherboard soon, but do not want to loose my current data. Is there a way to retain it. I know some people say you should be fine to just put it in and go after installing the new boards drivers, but I know last time i upgraded this did not go smoothly I wound up having to reformat the drive. I'm not sure the best way to go about retaining all my information.
