So I made a new build and these are the specs:
Gigabyte GTX 780 ti
Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5 ghz
Asus z87-pro v edition motherboard
750 watt corsair power supply
So about the ram, one of the sticks came dead. I bought G skill ripjaws x series 8gb (2x4gb) but the system will not boot with one of the sticks. So before I rma'd them I ran battlefield 4, I'm getting about 75-120 fps on ultra. BUT the game stutters. Im not getting dips in FPS but it just stutters. I just need to know if its the lack of ram doing this since Im only running with one stick in(4gb). Its not just bf4, it does this in Smite, TF2, and a few indie titles. The only games it doesnt stutter on so far is Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, and Total war: Rome 2. Could it be a drivers problem? I am RMAing the ram either way but I just need to know
