I'm new to building PC's, and I wanted to get some feedback on my decisions. Is everything compatible? I'm into making gaming vids, and playing a lot of games. I'm trying to keep my prace range around $1,200 - $1,300.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor - ($219.00)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler - ($29.99)
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard - ($129.99)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - ($119.98)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3.5 inch 2TB HDD and Samsung 840 EVO Series 120GB 2.5-Inch SSD- ($84.81 and $89.99)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card - ($328.98)
Case: Azza Solano 1000R ATX Full Tower Case - ($79.99)
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - ($120.98)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer - ($15.98)
Total: $1,219.69

Should I get another storage? And if so, should I get an SSD or HDD
Should I get Windows 7 or 8.1? (8.1 will cost around $100 more dollars
Thanks.

Windows 7 or 8 is a personal preference. The performance difference on a high end desktop is non-existent. And yes, an SSD does boost performance significantly. That PSU is not optimal.

Cheers and good luck.

You only need 8 gb of ram. 1 tb is usually fine with an ssd. You can get a much better power supply for less.

Great build but are you sure you want that computer case, I have never heard of that brand. with an extra $10 you can get the NZXT 530 full tower http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-caso530m1

I found two PSUs that are cheaper than the one on my current build. One is 850w and the other is 750w. Which one should I get?

Raidmax 850W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - ($95.99)

EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B BRONZE 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - ($59.99)

Slightly over budget, but overall much better. Especially in the PSU department. Better motherboard. Better CPU cooler. Better RAM.

No need for over 8 gigs of ram right now. Why would he spend so much on a cpu cooler, and what is the need for a psu that expensive for one graphics card. He should get a i7 for the same price as that overpriced cooler. Anyhow, is the op planning to overclock.

With Z87 and an unlocked processor, I assume the op intends an OC sometime. The Noctua cooler is one of the best, quiet under load, stays very cool. The PSU is the best on the market, still within reasonable budget range.

As for the RAM I say 16GB for highly modded games. Maybe next TES game or, my hope, Fallout 4 heavily modded.
