Any help appreciated. By default Windows displays the login screen with the prompt centered, split between the two monitors. I have Windows 8.0 Professional 64bit on a HP DVEnvy6 laptop with NVIDIA 630M GDP using a Matrox DualHead2Go DE to connect 2 DVI monitors to VGA port configured in extended desktop 1200x3840, 59Hz refresh.

The login screen will appear on whatever monitor is selected as the main display. To change this:
1 - Right-click your desktop and choose Screen Resolution.
2 - Click the monitor you want the login screen to show on, then check the box "Make this my main display"
3 - Click Apply.
4 - If desired, manually move your taskbar to whatever screen you prefer, if it moved.
