Cooler Master HAF series, Corsair Graphite series, 500R, 550D, NZXT Phantom, Source, Fractal Design R4 are all great cases, but to kind of answer, there is no best case as such. All cases have strengths and weaknesses, depends on your point of view, tastes and needs.

An example would be the Apavia X series of gaming cases. I personally think every last one of them is god-aweful ugly, and I wouldn't build with one if it was free, nut some people love them simply because they are so 'flashy' and don't look like everyone else's.

hmm I care about airflow the most and that all of my components fit. So far I am considering the Fractal Define R4 w/ window the most

When asking for advice on my build I had already picked out the Fractal because I like the look of it, the space, the extra fan opportunity. I was suggested the Corsair 300R and it had me in two minds for a while but ultimately went back to the Fractal.

I'm still waiting to get round to building mine but I intend on replacing the front stock fan with 2 red LED ones and adding a 3rd to the top of the case. I'm hoping to cast a nice glow on the copper zalman CPU cooler I want, but I digress, I fell in love with the Fractal before making those decisions. Lots of room. You should check out the Newegg videos for the Fractal and the 300R, presonally I like not being able to see the drive bays with the Fractal
