Just did a system recovery on an (HP) with Vista OS. Everything was backed up onto 10 DVD's. I uninstalled the free 60 day trial of Norton that comes with the original installation because Kaspersky is what is preferred by the pc owner and is what they had installed before the back up. How feasible is it to just put the dvd's back in one at a time and reinstall all the files? I have not dealt with Vista very much so I was wondering if anyone knows if it tends to have issues compared to XP and 7/8? I also have not connected it to the internet for the Windows updates yet either. Should I do that first? Thanks in advance.

Why did the system have to be recovered? To reinstall everything then yes, put all the disks in one at a time unless they have multiple disk drives. I haven't noticed vistas having more issues than XP and 7/8. I'd install all the windows updates first as well.
