I think you should choose a different motherboard cuz this one doesnt seem to support SLI. This mobo will do great http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87e...

I exceeded my budget already with the MSI board i chose. I will not use the the SLI on the motherboard since the gpu isn't SLI compatible. Any other recommendations for a gpu or a mb but at the same price range as the one's i chose? Thanks for early reply :)

I dont know if I want to overclock because i never have and i dont know how to, I will mostly game on it and just doing homework and casual browsing. No video editing and stuff like that. My budget is around 600-700 dollars for the upgrade. I have 8gb of ram that i will use from my previous computer and possibly the key for my windows. Is the gtx 750ti a good choice? Should I buy an AMD cpu save money and invest on a better gpu? And it is true that new games will use more cores because of the console running 8cores.

I've had this build in mind but are you sure the gpu will fit in the haf 912? Also the haf 912 has front usb 2.0 and the mb has 3.0 front usb

Other option for a gpu? I really wanted an amd gpu 280x but they prices sky rocketed to 500$ from 250-300. Is the corsair 200r good mid atx case?

This is what i managed to make with an amd cpu.
I'm just missing ideas for the gpu...
Any ideas? I really like nvidia gpu's cause of the stable drivers and performance.

if you get the 8320 and save 50$ and a 8320 is the same as a 8350 just underclocked you can get a better gpu and that is what really matters for gaming yes a good processor is a big deal but not as much as a strong GPU and i would get the 770 330$-400$ http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=1860&gid2=... and the 280x is a little worse than the 770 also

I think i will just sell my hp pavillion instead of upgrading it. With the money from the pavilion and some saved money i will build a good amd rig. I've always been with Intel and I want to build an amd rig. I will be going with this:

Thanks to anyone who replied.
