Yesterday I connected the HD to my Macbook, it was working just fine, everything was shown (photos, videos and music) buy I clicked 'Eject' and pulled it out...and it said to eject it properly.

So when I connected it again to double check if the HD was okay..it won't show up anymore..usually the icon will show but nothing now. The HD light is on (blue colour), had a look at the finder preferences for external hard disc is ticked, but when I looked at the disk utility it isn't there..can anybody help me please I don't want to lose all of the files I have in the HD :(

don't use the drive until you are ready to recover the files and to do that you need a drive to recover files to. {you dont recover files to the same drive you are recovering from}

I don't do Mac so hopefully someone familiar with recovery software on a Mac will chime in soon.

Good luck.
