2 power supplies in one computer?Is it possible

hi guys i want to know if i can connect my 2nd psu 300 watts to make 500 watts combination i have no acces to Add2PSU cuz i live in France
i saw some kind of video where one guy cuts a green wire from 1st psu and from 2nd too how i can do this and how >.<

Hi - As photon said - don't do it even if you don't have the budget for a new PSU.

I'm a retired Electronics Technician. While it's POSSIBLE to do, from a safety point of view I just can't even tell you how to do it.

I'd do it myself for fun in a controlled environment in a garage or something, but there is a real possibility to BURN DOWN YOUR HOUSE.

Someone might tell you that the odds of that are very low. Maybe, maybe not depending on your skill set. It is however much, much higher than using a typical single Power Supply; preferably one with some Voltage Protection circuitry and a separate surge protector.

There's are articles about people who have burned down their houses in similar situations. Heck, it can be done with two 9-volt batteries.

So don't do it. Sorry your budget is low, but it's just not worth the risk.

You're going to merge two shoddy PSUs together? WHY?!?!

If you just bought a GPU that needs more power than your PSU can handle then you should still be able to summon up enough of a budget to get yourself a decent little PSU. If you can't, well then you may want to re-evaluate your life choices prior to having TWO gutless wonders die fantastically on you.
