I built my first PC a while ago but since day one all of my games have had severe problems with Frame rates. I mostly play Titanfall, and Battlefield 4. I also play Planetside 2. Both can have the settings put the lowest they'll go and receive quite a few prolonged frame drops. I've reinstalled pretty much everything, ruled out connection issues, and have all the latest drivers installed. Core temps seem to be fine as well. PC is not set to power-saver mode.

specs
AMD FX-8350 CPU
GeForce GTX 770
ASUS M5A99FX pro r2.0
8 gb RAM
Corsair CX750 PSU

As always, thank you for any help :)

Hmm, that is very odd you do have a very solid system for what you are plaining to use it for. I wonder if something may be up with the GPU. Their is no way that at the lowest of settings you shouldn't be getting anything less of a million frames a second with a GTX770.

I would follow this post and check to see what your GPU usage is like.

First off, thank you for a timely response. It truly means a lot as I'm am baffled by this and have little available help at home. GPU usage stays around 60. Never higher then 65. However GPU temps spiking all over the place from 25-75 degrees Celsius. Is that normal?

Yes your GPU temps are alright. What about your CPU is it running at the advertised speed? And is your ram set up properly in your bios at the advertised timings/speed? Also, what do your frames actually look like what are you seeing?

I want to thank you again for your help. I've been running my PC through quite a bit of defrag and malware fixing softwares. Today I got on Titanfall and saw a sudden leap in performance in FPS. I was even able to maintain solid 60 frames on high settings based on the optimization for the game from the EVGA app. Honestly I'm more dumbfounded than ever but at least things are good (for now). Thank you once more for you're help :)

Not a problem. Hopefully you're good for a while now then. However, I would say be careful with malware/virus software that they don't slow you down a ton.
