Take it back to the person who sold you it.

Unfortunately, we have no way to know that it's not stolen property, so can't help with bypassing security restrictions.

can you give any proof that you have bought the laptop.(something like your id and purchase proof)

Agreed on that one.

The person you bought it off at the auction should be able to provide you with the password.

its just to confirm that he is the owner of the system.

I know it was for good intention, but it's not the best way for him to solve the issue, and we should not be the one to judge whether those are valid ID or not, anyway.

How would knowing his name allow you to know it's his system? Or that the auctioneer isn't fencing stolen goods?

Even if he bought it, he said it's 'from auction'. Which means that the person who auctioned it could have stolen it. It's a very murky legal area.
