So I have an A8 3850 APU with a GTX 760 (biiiig bottleneck) so I overclocked my CPU with AMD overdrive to 3.6 ghz. And I haven't really noticed any slight changes on performance. Do I perhaps need to overclock it in the bios? Because whenever I do it with overdrive, and restart my computer, the clock speeds go back to 2.9 ghz. Also, if I upgrade to the A8 3870k and overclock, would it be better?

Yes.... U need to overclock in Bios.... Overclocking CPUs in Windows using softwares such as Overdrive don't actually work and can damage your hardware
