Ive had this computer for about two years with no problems (Gaming computer) and just recently about a week ago it started to lag extremely bad. I could be watching a youtube video and the lag happens i cant even click the pause button and if i do it takes forever to register and the lag only lasts like a minute or two but they happen frequently. I just noticed today that when the lag happens when i open my task manager my memory usage jumps between 90%-100%. I have 16GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum memory and this is just now happening. Im editing videos like i do on a daily basis and i have to stop because of the lag. Is this really a memory/computer thing? If so does anyone know how to fix it?

Specs:
Windows 7
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz OCed @ 4.00GHZ(Been like that for almost a year)
16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600MHz
NVIDIA GTX 670 FTW
ASUS P8Z77-V LK MOBO

I haven tried safe mode yet. Im not sure what to do to help in safe mode. Im not sure if this is a ram issue but it seems to happn when ram spikes. I happens about 5 times a day and they last a couple minds. Not even a lot of programs. Just skype, google chrome, and two idleing Sony Vegas 12s running. They arent even rendering either
