safe mode says wait and then goes back to log in page

my computer wont accept my password so went into safe mode command prompt. After the files are loaded computer says please wait and then goes back to logon page put p/word and says wrong password even though it is right . Haven't got back up disc.

It's rare for Windows to say wrong password when it isn't.

Make sure you are typing in upper or lowercase so that it exactly matches how you typed it originally. Beyond that we cannot help with password problems as it's against the rules.
