Hi I am currently torn between 2 pc's. I would like a gaming pc to last me at least 4 years, so that means it needs future proofing. ive heard the i5-4570 would be better for gaming right now but the fx8320 could be a bit better in the future. Any advice on which one to get? I would replace the r9-270 from the fx8320 with a 760.

This is the i5 one

This is the fx one

EDIT: I am NOT looking to build my own for many reasons (and yes i know all the pros and cons) but i would like to know which of these two pcs would be better for gaming in the next 4-5 years.

If it is between the i5 and an r9-270 or an fx 8350 and a 760, go with the Fx and the 760. The i5 is generally thought to be a "better" cpu, however, some recent games (such as crysis 3) that take advantage of multitasking past 4 cores run better on the 8350. I could see this trend continue as developers continue coding for the new consoles. I think that either CPU will be valid for the next 3-4 years. The 760 is a much better gpu than the r9-270 however. I really doubt that the 8350 would be a bottleneck for either card.

EDIT: I mentioned the 8350 in my original post, but the computer you are looking at has an 8320, which is basically the same cpu but with lower clocks, should be just fine as well)

You could build your own, get i7 performance, and a faster GPU, for a bit less than the i5 system.

And the FX CPUs can be overclocked unlike this particular i5.
