Right now i'm looking to get an Core i5-4*** and a GTX 2gb 760. Would these be enough for high-graphics gaming on 2500x1400 on games like titanfall/BF4, StarCraft2, iracing?

Should i look into GTX 770 instead though? would 2gb of vram be enough?

Thanks!
Tom

770 would be significantly faster than 760 at 1440p but 780 would be even faster!
Note: 2GB is not enough for 1440p

get a 770 4gb. If you want that resolution on those games, its either a minimum $400 gtx 770 4gb, or better

Hi Catchx22!

The GTX 760 is quite similar to the GTX 760 and as such should be enough for gaming at 2560x1440 with setting on medium. I speak from personal experience, 1440p@medium settings looks MUCH better than 1080p@High settings. 2gb is enough although optimally if you can you could go for a 3gb card.

The real solution would be to start off with a GTX760 and eventually add a second 760 in SLI, make sure your power supply can handle those 2 cards (750-800 Watts or so).

Thank you everyone,

Pete, everyone has suggested the 4GB ram. I am not sure how this works but if i choose to buy the 2GB 760, then add an additional 2GB 760 would they effectively "add up"?

Currently i still only have a 1080 so i'm thinking of breaking the build into two. First getting the system running then buying the 27" 2560x1400 and additional 760 around my bday or something :)

SLI of two 770s would be a lot better than two 760s, prices for 770 is not too high so getting two 760's is not worth the money!
Look three way SLI of 760's slower than two way SLI of 770's

one 780. Where I live, 780tis go for around 400 pounds. If it is the same for you, buy one of those.
