Hello,
I've been getting mixed results in terms of whether or not the AMD FM2 socket APU supporting chipsets can output dual displays with only the APU/onboard connections (no graphics card)
I currently have an FM1 Llano A10 on an A75 mobo (no discrete graphics card)
I have my primary monitor connected to the DVI port, and wanted to connect my TV via HDMI and use it as an extended desktop display, but was unable to do. From what I've read, none of the FM1 socket motherboards support multi-display without the use of a discrete graphics card.
*I don't play games and I don't have room in my case for a big graphics card*
I want to upgrade to the FM2/+ socket but only if I can do DVI-monitor/HDMI-TV simultaneously without buying a graphics card.
Do any motherboards support this and how can I tell?
I don't understand how my 6 year old core2 laptop can do this without a hitch, but my current set up can't.
Thanks in advance!
