Can i harm my computer by turning off and deleting the hibernation file?

absolutely not, if you delete the file after disabling hibernation, and then you enable it anytime in the future your windows will automatically create a new hiberfile. Hiberfiles are actually blank reserved disk spaces for storing the content of RAM while hibernating. Once the PC is back to running, the hiberfile gets emptied.
But why would you disable it? I find hibernation/waking quicker shutdown/boot.

I have some lost SSD space which i don't know where went and don't know how to get back, just wanted some more space.
