I have recently built a PC for the first time, but my hard drive makes a very loud spinning sound. It doesn't over-spin or have the death rattle or anything like that it is just darn loud. Is there a problem with my hard drive or is it just something I should just put up with.
Thanks :)

Its normal to hear some basic quiet clicks out of that drive, but if it's loud, I'd return or exchange it right away. It may be working now, but the loud noise means something mechanical is not quite right and it's most likely going to fail on you soon. Backup any data files important to you on an external storage device (ie thumb drive), box the WD Blue up and send it back.

It doesn't sound bad it sounds really healthy, HD tune pro says it's fine aswell. It's not even spinning fast it's just very loud.

any sound is not good, as these drives are basically silent.
