I have a $500 budget which doesn't include a hard drive, optical drive, and OS. This build is going to be used for gaming and i cant figure out which case, power supply, or ram to use. Also does anyone know if there will be any bios compatibility errors with the cpu and motherboard, and i will be overclocking the cpu.

I edited your build, adding a case, power supply and RAM. It goes just over your budget - hopefully that won't be a problem. Also, if you're going to OC your CPU, you'd need to buy an after market cooler, which would make this build even more expensive. So, if you can't scrape together enough money, don't OC your CPU for now.

Yes. It's always difficult to "future proof" a build, as you never really know what's coming next, but those are some very reliable and common specs. :)

I recommend getting a second opinion from someone else though xD

Looks good, should be able to handle most games pretty well. Once you get some more funds throw another 4gb in there (try to get the same brand/speed to avoid compatability issues) and an aftermarket cooler to OC your cpu.

Have fun!

Also you can grab some DDR-31600 RAM for the same price
