Hi! So i've been having some problems with my PC lately. When playing more demanding games my coumputer restarts or completely freezes, that usually happens after an hour of gaming. My current setup is:

gtx 660 (few months old)
fx 6300 (few months old)
4gb ram
Chieftec 600W (1-2 months old)
500gb HDD (about a year old)
Dont remember the motherboard but it's quite new.

I tested my ram with memtest64, ran for 3 hours, no errors. Seems like an PSU issue but I'm quite short on money so swapping out parts just to test it is not really an option, Hope you can help.

Most likely a PSU issue.
I have never even heard of Chieftec before.

The last part you should go cheap on is the part that can fry everything else in the computer.

But in theory, should good quality 650w be enough or should I get something more powerful?

A good 600-650w psu should be enough for that system. Do you have another psu you can try before you go out to buy a new one? Like a friends?

Don't think so, most of my friends have a lower end pc.

I also monitored my temps, around 50-55 on load for both cpu and gpu, so that shouldn't be the problem.
