I have a AMD A8 5600K with a AMD 270X.

I am considering buying a Intel i5 3750. I mainly play BF4 and Titanfall etc...

Will I see a gain in FPS by having an i5 over the A8?

Solution
Get that 3570 and this board. That would put you about 135 of your 200 budget. You could then add an SSD, and a cooler for a bit more.

I have around £200 to play with and can get a 3750 quite cheap. What chipset would you recommend?

Would it be a noticeable difference or does my GPU do all the work?

Thanks for the help.

A 5600k will bottleneck a 270x. Even an i3 4130 is better. Hell, even a Phenom II X4, at the same clock speed, is better.

I am not seeing any issues, except in BF4 when things blow up en masse.

However I am a grass is always greener type of person hence the need for an upgrade. However if the money would be better spent elsewhere I am happy to hear it.

i5-3570 for 80 quids? Are you sure about that?
The cheapest i5-3570 is for 153 quids. It is still affordable as long as you drop the cooler and the SSD.
Edit: Ah sorry I didn't notice the OP will get it for 80 quids.
