Low fps when loading large areas and textures in game.

I have an amd fx 6300 processor
amd hd 7870 graphics card
16 gb of ram
250gb of free hard drive space

When i play any game old or new when i load into an area that has alot of textures and objects my fps goes down to about 10. Some one please help!!

Textures and landscapes are loaded into the GPU's memory and can affect performance.
I would try turning down the draw distance in the game to see if that makes any difference.
If you have an overclocking on your GPU, set it back to default, especially if the RAM is overclocked.
AMD makes a utility to optimally set game settings based on your hardware, give it a try and see what happens
