I built a htpc with a fm2+ socket and a6 5400k before christmas to use as a htpc until kaveri came out.

But i want to do some gaming also.

Since its been released im not sure if i should spend the money on it and on higher speed ram or scrap the mobo and cpu for parts and build a 13 4130 + gtx 750 instead on a new mobo.

My case is a silverstone sg06 mini itx with a 300 watt psu...so it needs to be lowish power.

Thoughts ?

Cheers.

According to Toms (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-o...) for the $180 you'd spend on a AMD A10-7850K you better off getting a Intel Core i5-3350P....
but thats assuming you don't already have a mobo...
Since you do I'd honestly stick with the AMD and put the money you save on a new mobo to either RAM, a SSD or a video card.
