Hello, first time posting here.

I have an Asus GTX 780 direct CU II OC edition. For some reason when i turned off the pc and turned it on the next day and there was no display on the monitor. I checked my 780 and its power LED were not on however the fan on it was spinning like it would normally. It was working normally before.

i checked if any of the 8 and 6 pin connector got loose however it doesn’t seem like it did.

i connected my hdmi to the mobos's display adapter and it everything seems fine from the mobos and cpus point but the when i connect it to my 780 there is no display.

Kinda freaking out here. Please Help

Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 Gigs (1 Stick)
Hard Drive: Segate Barracda 2 TB

Solution

Recheck if your pcie cables are connected well or not and even check that the GPU is getting enough power or not and if everything is all ri8,then my conclusion is that there is an internal hardware failure and I recommend you to contact ASUS support centre

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked and double checked all 8 pin and 6 pin are connected also the HX 850 should be more then enough for the 780. Is contacting them the only solution?

Im an total idiot, it seems as though that i had the GPU on loosely to the motherboard once i tightened it up (pushed it down) it started working fine i should have triple checked it as subhadeep082012 suggested. Anyways thanks for the quick responses and the help :)
