Alright, so I recently bought the video card mentioned in the title, upgrading from an EVGA 660 ti SC and after seeing performance in some games, I can't help but feel that it's not as good a card as I was thinking it was or I'm not getting all I need to get out of it. I'll list some fps numbers below

Crysis - 1080p, maxed out, No V-Sync - Average - Around 60 fps, Minimum - 55 fps
Far Cry 3 - 1080p, maxed out, No V-Sync - Average - 50 fps, Minimum - around 41 fps
Tomb Raider - 1080p, maxed out except Tress and SMAA, No V-Sync - Average - between 60 and 80 fps, Minimum - 51 fps
Bioshock Infinite - 1080p, Maxed out - Average - 100 fps, Minimum - 91 fps

The two that bothered me the most were Crysis and Metro 2033. I know Crysis still takes some kind of alien like, organic, super duper, holy s*** pc to run but I figured I'd get more than that and the same goes for Metro 2033, I turned everything on at max and at 1080p and I was hitting the low 40s, I REALLY didn't think it'd be that low. Can someone please tell me if these games really are that demanding or am I just doing something wrong.

PC Specs:
CPU - i7-3820 3.8 ghz
RAM - 16 GB Kingston Hyper X 1600 mhz
MB - GA-X79-UP4 (Had to flash it to latest version for the 780)
PSU - Corsair TX850
GPU Specs:
Base Clock: 941 MHz
Boost Clock: 993 MHz
Memory Clock: 6008 MHz Effective
CUDA Cores: 2304
3072MB GDDR5 384bit Memory

I appreciate any and all answers.

I have actually, I looked at a number of reviews. They're a little hard to go by for me because I don't go any higher than 1080p. Most reviews I read these days bottom out at 1440p, granted, I can still look at that and gauge what 1080p would be like but it's not definitive and I know there's a whole lot of people on here who know their stuff.
